The BPO sector as a rising star in the economies of the Western Balkans
The BPO sector is becoming one of the fastest-growing industries in the Western Balkans, offering stable employment, international exposure, and real career growth opportunities.
At the same time, many people across the region - especially young professionals, women, and individuals from underrepresented groups - face barriers when trying to access quality jobs. These barriers include a lack of experience, limited access to information, and fewer opportunities outside major cities.
Led by the Macedonian Human Resource Association (MHRA), the initiative focuses on:
Increasing awareness of career opportunities in BPO
Supporting individuals in building job-ready skills
Connecting candidates with employers across the region
The project targets diverse talent groups, including young professionals, career switchers, women re-entering the workforce, and individuals from underrepresented communities.
